Personal Training

Strength-focused personalized fitness to meet the changes and demands of all stages of life.

All Things Wellness

As a registered dietitian nutritionist I am happy to bring this discipline into my work as a fitness coach. As desired, sessions may include discussion and consultation on all things wellness, including nutrition.

I believe in a weight neutral approach in my practice, following principles of Intuitive Eating in my training and coaching in fitness and nutrition.

Why special training for Pregnancy & Postpartum?

During pregnancy & postpartum our bodies are changing rapidly, with high demands. This means different considerations are necessary to ensure safe and effective fitness progression.

In particular, carrying a baby is a heavy load on the pelvic floor, which are the bowl shaped muscles lining our pelvis. We must focus on connecting with these and supporting muscles in a direct way to prevent or heal unwanted dysfunction, such as urine leaking. Other things to be mindful of include muscle elasticity, tissue recovery and specific areas prone to aches and pains, as well as c-section considerations.

Pelvic Floor & Diastasis Recti

In my strength-based programming, pelvic floor health is a top priority for all clients. For those who are postpartum, healing diastasis recti is an additional emphasis. Diastasis recti is the separation of the abdominal muscles as the belly stretches to accommodate the growing baby.
